Over the last eight decades, Larsen & Toubro has metamorphosed from its humble beginnings in a single-room office into a globally respected conglomerate, with operations in over 30 countries. It is during these years that the Company ventured into many new sectors and geographies, and continues to work towards its goal of nation building.
During this journey, our Group Chairman, Mr. A. M. Naik, established Larsen & Toubro Public Charitable Trust (LTPCT) with a focus on instilling philanthropic values at all levels of the organisation. He encouraged employees to give back to society and used the vehicle of ESOPs as the medium of contribution. The Company matches employee contributions with an equivalent grant.
Since its inception in 2004, the Trust is serving the last mile underserved, rural and tribal communities in Gujarat and Maharashtra in the field of education, healthcare, livelihoods, and skilling with an underlying theme of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), aligning with International and National Development Policies and Programmes. Our holistic life cycle approach ensures sustainable impact and equitable progress to all.

We achieve this by promoting inclusive growth and social equity through comprehensive community programmes in health, education, skill development, livelihoods, and water security. We are committed to strengthening local institutions, advancing social justice, and fostering shared responsibility to ensure sustainable well-being and dignity for all.
