A stable livelihood is the foundation of dignity and self-reliance. At LTPCT, our livelihood programmes aim to break the cycle of poverty by enabling vulnerable communities to build sustainable, climate-resilient, and diversified income sources. Our approach goes beyond short-term support — we invest in strengthening local ecosystems and creating lasting opportunities for economic growth.
Through Agriculture Building initiatives, we promote improved farming practices, introduce high-yield crop varieties, and enhance productivity. Our focus on Water Resource Development ensures irrigation access and strengthens agricultural resilience, directly improving farm incomes. Animal Husbandry initiatives, including dairy, goat rearing, and poultry, provide critical income diversification for small and marginal farmers.
We empower communities further through Institutional and Capacity Building, nurturing self-help groups and producer collectives to enhance decision-making and ownership. By facilitating Access to Social Entitlements, we bridge the gap between communities and government welfare schemes. Finally, Market Linkages connect rural producers to larger value chains, improving income security and financial independence.
Together, these integrated interventions strengthen rural livelihoods, build resilience against economic shocks, and enable families to move from survival to prosperity — creating pathways for long-term community development and social equity.
