Larsen & Toubro Public Charitable Trust works across four thematic areas - Education, Health, Livelihoods and Skilling - with an underlying focus on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH). Our primary emphasis is on strengthening vulnerable communities with deep rooted interventions for lasting impact.
At LTPCT, we believe that meaningful change is not achieved in silos — it happens when health, education, livelihoods, and skills intersect to strengthen communities from within. Our Comprehensive Community Development (CCD) programme embodies this belief through a life-cycle and ecosystem approach, addressing multiple dimensions of vulnerability, simultaneously and sustainably.
From ensuring maternal and child healthcare and eliminating preventable diseases, to improving learning outcomes and school readiness, CCD builds strong human capital at every stage of life. Our education initiatives lay solid foundations in early childhood and continue through adolescence, while teacher capacity building transforms classrooms into inclusive, engaging spaces.
Economic resilience is strengthened through livelihood interventions — improved agriculture, water resource development, animal husbandry, and social entitlements — complemented by market linkages that expand income opportunities. Through skilling programmes like ANTTC, we equip youth with job-ready competencies, enabling dignified employment and future-ready careers.
Implemented in close collaboration with local institutions, block and district administrations, and community leaders, CCD is more than a programme — it is a partnership for transformation. Together, we build resilient communities that are healthier, better educated, economically empowered, and equipped for sustainable futures.
